The Brisbane Disability Connection Expo 2025, held on March 21-22 at the Brisbane Community Center, was nothing short of amazing! This year was particularly special as it marked our third consecutive participation, allowing us to deepen our connections, share valuable insights, and witness firsthand the incredible growth of this inclusive community. As proud participants for the third consecutive year, we were thrilled to be part of this impactful event once again. Connecting with individuals, families, caregivers, and industry professionals reinforced the importance of community-driven support and accessibility.
A Vibrant Gathering of Connections and Conversations
The expo provided an incredible platform for individuals and service providers to engage, learn, and share experiences. With a bustling atmosphere filled with insightful discussions, informative exhibits, and heartwarming moments, we were honored to welcome so many visitors to our stand.
Each interaction was a chance to listen, understand, and offer guidance on how we can best support people within the NDIS framework. Many visitors shared concerns about navigating NDIS funding, understanding eligibility, and accessing the right services. We were happy to provide clarity on these topics, ensuring that individuals and families felt more confident in their journey. Whether it was answering questions about our services, providing insights into navigating the NDIS, or simply sharing a friendly conversation, we cherished every moment spent with our visitors.
A Token of Appreciation – Our Goodies!
As a small gesture of gratitude, we ensured that every visitor to our stand left with a little something to remember us by. From eco-friendly bags and stylish caps to soft toys and more, these goodies symbolised our appreciation for the community and our shared commitment to making a difference. Seeing the smiles they brought to faces was a highlight of our participation!

One of the most exciting elements at our stand was the dedicated photo booth! It provided an opportunity to create lasting memories with our visitors, capturing the joy and excitement of the event. Participating in the Brisbane Disability Connection Expo for three years has been a rewarding journey, and this year was particularly special as we introduced the Kuremara Club. This new initiative offers participants a space to engage, motivate, and learn through interactive games, creative activities, and much more. These additions allowed us to offer more tailored support and guidance, and we look forward to bringing even more value in the years to come! Every year, this event serves as a reminder of why we do what we do—to empower individuals, support families, and contribute to a more inclusive society.
